Leadership Development

Development of leaders comes through mentoring as well as education. The vision we have is to train leaders who will go out and reach their communities, their states, and their nations. The Greek method of study focuses on academics and learning, which is essential. We have partnered with the International School of Ministry that has a video curriculum of the top leaders in the Christian faith giving their best teachings. In addition, the Hebrew model is one of coming alongside, teaching and mentoring. We provide a mentoring program that will train men, women, and youth who desire to develop into the person God has called them to be.

Leaders for Christ Teams travel around the globe to disciple and train leaders to continue the work of God in their country.

International Missions

We currently support missionaries in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Indonesia, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Morocco, and Israel. Each year, we send teams to these locations to visit our missionaries, offer assistance, and to further equip these individuals in the areas of ministry.

Choosing a Missionary:
We would like to have at least one family “adopt” each of our missionaries. They would keep in e-mail contact, send birthday cards or Christmas gifts, and encourage them in creative ways. The mission field can be a lonely place of isolation when you are away from your culture and family. We believe we can strengthen those who labor in the harvest through prayer, and letting them know they are loved, appreciated, and remembered by the family here at BVCC.

Short-Term Mission Trips:
We offer short term mission trips each year. Our objective is to visit our missionaries to build relationships, encourage them, and train leaders. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to apply to go on a short term trip. The participants are selected through prayer by the LFC mission team members.

You can get information on how to financially or prayerfully support any of our missionaries through the Director of Missions.
 

Leaders for Christ
Training Center International

Leaders for Christ is committed to building leaders in local churches around the world. One tool we use is the Leaders for Christ Training Center and the ISOM curriculum. We have been able to provide the curriculum to missionaries all over the world at no cost to the missionary. We have Training Centers operating in the following countries:

Panama

International Roundtables

International roundtables are a network of pastors and leaders from all over the world that connect and share when each country visits one another. This network of small groups foster the development of relationships.
